This blog is dedicated to all the sweethearts & lovers out there.  In Arts of Life Cafe, I definitely believe there is an art to love & love is art. Who remembers those sweetheart candy's & singing-grams that we could send as a secret admirer to someone at school back in the day?  Or writing on a note these words " Do you like me? Circle Yes or No?" I have been a secret admirer myself at times, which was always fun, but nerve-wracking. I hope everyone enjoys this Valentine's Day whether you have a boo or not. You have to love yourself 1st before you can know how to love anyone else. Make someone feel special, build them up & let them know they are loved. If you don't want to do that, then at least do something nice for yourself. If you do have a Valentine, purchase this perfect song & play it for the one you call "Mine!"

One of my favorite Martin Episodes & favorite classic love song by Rick James & Tina Marie. Who doesn't want a love with some Fire & Desire? Someone that makes you want to put down your playa ways & settle down. Anyone who knows me, knows I love Martin Lawrence. Sometimes I can just pop in one of his dvd's & laugh out loud all by myself. Once I order the second season, my collection will be complete. How about your's? If you are a Martin fan or just a comedy lover, I suggest you add him to your collection.

Life is Art. If you pay attention you can see the beauty of life. Arts of Life Cafe was birthed out of my love for the Arts & love for Life. I've always loved good love songs, movies & any entertainment that displays what I call the "Arts of Life." What's Love Got to Do with It" is a 1993 American biopic film directed by Brian Gibson, loosely based on the life of Tina Turner. It stars Angela Bassett as Tina Turner and Laurence Fishburne as Ike Turner. The movie is definitely a classic, but the title, What's Love Got to Do With It? caught my attention. The answer to that question is Everything my friends. Whether you are single, in love, married, divorced, young or old, it all comes down to love or lack there of. So we might as well enjoy the Arts of Life, and laugh, cry, & love while we can.  As I approach my 30's, I've learned that there is no one that can be me better than myself, so I need to love myself through my good, bad, & ugly. I am who I am by the grace of God, that means I'm imperfect, but loved perfectly. I love my family, friends & loved ones with a passion. Passion is important to me & always makes my love for something or someone shine a little brighter. I hope that my blog displays my passion for life, love, & laughter & inspires. Arts of Life Music Cafe_Love, Marriage & Divorce......

It sounds bittersweet, I know.  Toni Braxton's & BabyFace's Love, Marriage & Divorce Duet Album has been 21 years in the making. I can truly appreciate the value of music like this  since, I'm in the midst of this season in my life. Hopefully, at some point in our lives we experience love, marriage & if necessary divorce. I'm not an advocate for divorce, but there are times even when the Bible says it's permissible, but that's neither here nor there. What I want to know, is what do you believe? Speak up, whether you are single, married, or divorced. 

Is it better to love & loose than not to have loved at all?
